Pilotflows Certificates — Never Lose Track of Your Documents Again
Written by Ted STAGGS · 17 October 2026
As our team set out to build the best pilot logbook in the industry, I started thinking about what really makes a great logbook.
One thing that always annoyed me personally was keeping track of all my documents. Licences, ratings, language proficiency, medical certificates, passports, airport badges… and the list goes on.
That’s why we came up with the Certificates tab.
Here, you can upload any document, give it a name, and add an expiry date if needed. And here’s the really useful part: you can set up to two email or SMS reminders, so you know when something needs your attention.
Because not every certificate is the same, we also wanted to give you the flexibility to manage each one according to your needs.
And there’s no need to delete an old certificate every time you renew it. Simply upload the new document, set the new expiry date, and keep the history of your certificate over the years. That way, you can always look back and see how it has evolved.
And you know those moments when some bureaucrat suddenly asks you for a document from three years ago?
No problem. Just open Pilotflows, find the certificate, click Share, and send it. That’s it.
Personally, I use it to keep track of my ID, passport, medical certificate, ratings, airport badges, and pretty much everything else I might need.
Everything is in one place, always at hand when I need it.
No more searching through folders. No more scanning the same document twice. And no more thinking, “Where the hell did I put that document?”
It’s a simple feature, but it takes a lot of unnecessary stress out of a pilot’s life.
And that’s exactly what we want Pilotflows to do.
